Interesting documentary that shares some insights on what is been done in greater China in the process of community building. I particularly loved to see the faces and the voices of the people sharing their personal insights and how this process is been incorporated in their own lives. And the cinematography is amazing, what a wonderful job. Would have been great to see more children and youth in the interviews so that we could have some insights also on their transformation. Anyways, I think it's a must watch for anyone who is interested in this topic. The documentary gives you some hope, and this is the final message of the documentary.

A heart warming reminder of Abdu'lBahá!

Interesting take on the life of Abdu'lBahá. I have been familiar with his life, but I have mostly heard stories about his later life, when he was older. I had heard about his trips to the United States, the speeches he gave there for universal brotherhood and world peace as well as the equality of man and woman. But I have never had a chance to hear about his childhood. The story is well structured and the stories are following a natural narrating comfortable path.
The image of him has always brought me peace despite the chaos in this world. His eyes are with me and there are days in my life where THAT is where I cling to the notion of peace and acceptance to all peoples around the globe. This video reminds me of his grace and love. This documentary is a heart warming reminder of him!

It's a quite intriguing documentary, sharing insights of a part of the life of Abdu'l-Bahá.
I have heard about Abdu'l-Bahá, but mostly about his accomplishments when he was older, his travels to the USA and his speeches for universal brotherhood and universal peace. I particularly loved his speeches on the equality of man and women. This documentary instead shares stories about his childhood.

Very inspiring and uplifting. What a special documentary! I just stumbled into it by chance looking for something else and I just got hooked! It's truly a precious documentary commemorating a wonderful soul. Truly a bright candle of humanity that has lit many more candles for humanity and his legacy will continue. The documentary starts with a mystery of the photo of a couple with a child in their arms, a photograph that has been hanging in a house in Israel but nobody ever knew who were these people. Thank you to his research Vargha Mazlum unearths this unsolved mystery. I suggest everyone to watch it.
Amazing research!

What a great documentary! Fantastic and inspirational! So much research must have gone into this. So much unknown history has been unearthed. It was amazing to see and feel how China looked over a hundred years ago. So much information that my head is spinning.
I just wished it would be longer, I guess in future more and more information will be found and more will be known, but for now this was quite amazing. I would have to watch it again to understand and to retain more all the information what was shared in this documentary. I like Vargha Mazlum's directing because he brings you into a journey, it starts to feel like you are thee witnessing these things with your own eyes. I liked also the voice of the narrator.

Great music that has been brought to life

Oh, the music! The music!!! I missed it. I remember listening to Light in the Darkness when I was young. So I am little biased on this, I gave it a 8 but I could have as well give to it a 10. I like that the documentary lives space to the music and avoids to put any commentary or anything else. Feels a little like a slideshow but who cares, I wanted to listening to the music. I wish more of their music would have been used though. I guess because is an old band so was difficult to find all the necessary footage. Wish more on them will be released soon, anyway this was a great first attempt. Thank you!
A very inspiring story brought to life
30 September 2022
Very moving, very moving, specially considering that is very actual story because of all that is happening in Iran now. I like how the story brought the viewer from the childhood of the brothers to recent time and shows the legacy that they left us. It teaches us that no effort is in vain. Thank you for this documenting, for bringing to life the story of these brothers, and their families. I can't express how moved I was to see the story of them as it is also similar to the one of my ancestors as of countless other families like them. Thank you again, this is truly a special gift! Waiting for the next one!

Outstanding and ulipfting documentary

I really enjoyed the documentary, it showed a different side, a more private side of her life. One that was rarely written about in the magazine. I guess because she does not like to make a big fuss about it. Carole's spiritual dimension transcended her entire life and glamorous career. Her faith kept her grounded in noble values, and she helped and cared for countless people who knew her. This documentary is wonderful, and very relevant today, in a world suffering from conflict , and people are busy killing each other in the name of religion, race, and nation. I hope to see more documentaries like this one!
