I enjoyed this little nugget of a film. I also like Ben Kingsley since Gandhi. I think he's a phenomenal actor. Harriet reminds me of Ann Dowd. I like them both. I also like Jane Curtin from since Kate & Allie days.
I really enjoyed the picture, but two things I have to comment negatively on. One, was it necessary to have three loud obscene words in a pg show? Is that what we're teaching our kids, to let out a very loud and obscene word if they get shocked about something? Harriet (Sandy) let out the "eff" word when she saw the alien. Was that word necessary for an elderly woman to use in a pg film?
Secondly, the ending. Why does it seem that some Hollywood directors can make an interesting show but don't know how to close it. I did not like the ending. It seemed like they did not know how to give it a satisfactory end. Other than those two comments, I did like it.

I can't understand some of these reviews here on this show. I started it yesterday and it has gripped me from the first moment. It's going very interesting and I'm on episode 2. Can't wait for more.
I interrupted my work just to see what's next. How can people say such bad things about this? If you're looking for drama and excitement, then it's here. Someone even said there's no chemistry with the lead stars. What? Something is wrong with you hopeful critics.
Please don't listen to them. Watch the show for yourself. I remember when Red Riding Hood with Amanda Seyfrield came out, and I went to the cinema to see it. I loved it and raced home to do a review. I was shocked by the negative reviews. It was then that I determined never to follow other people's reviews but to watch a show for myself.
I read these reviews before I started The Night Agent and I'm glad I ignored those reviews because I am enjoying the show immensely. Will do another review when I finish it.

I had to write when I read the negative review of one of the reviewers who said this episode was horrible and garbage. I find it was very interesting, emotional and realistic.
I liked how Fin handled the case. The guy Dutch had me worried a bit. He kept asking questions and I was afraid that he was going to go off the deep end and do something drastic and stupid. I'm so glad he didn't.
Someone said that the statute of limitations were passed and that the CO and the rapist would not do time; I'm not so sure but I like a satisfactory ending.
I think Fin couldn't open the Dil jar because he had been drinking earlier and I'm sure that weakened him. They weren't trying to say he was old or had arthritis. I don't know where some people come up with these things.
All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the episode. I think the next one is the finale for the season (tonight) and looking forward to it.
