What a waste. There are huge options to improve on the load of garbage that was the first Dune. People critically panned the original Dune made by David Lynch, but my brother and I (who rarely agree on anything) would willingly sit and watch that again, where these Villeneuve "supposed" masterpieces bored the pants off both of us, and, we didn't watch them together. The music is dismal, not stirring and doesn't give us any sense of excitement or anticipation at all. Cast to my mind is all wrong. Why get the wonderful Christopher Walken and then make his part as dull as ditchwater. Zendaya seems to only have one expression, a scowl aimed at Timothy Chalamet who is another miscast character. For goodness sake Hollywood if this is supposed to be your best then God help us with the worst.
What a travesty of a remake of the much loved Enid Blyton series of books. Politically correct claptrap. The names might be the same as in the books but as for anything else it bears no resemblance of the characters or stories that Enid Blyton penned. She would be turning in her grave to see yet another show totally ruined by the BBC. I cannot understand how their writers, producers and directors keep their jobs as they are all uttely incompetent, blithering idiots. My grandchildren and I recorded it and within 15 minutes we had all had enough and deleted it before getting the Monopoly out again. It would be more interesting to sit in the dentist having a root canal without anaesthetic than to continue watching any more of these.
I wasn't impressed with the first Suicide Squad but at least it had a brilliant soundtrack to lift it. This didn't even have that. Utter garbage. Jumped from scene to scene without any context. I cannot be;/lieve James Gunn turned this rubbish out.
