After seeing the box office collection and word of mouth for this movie, I thought it was a masterpiece. When I watched it on Netflix, I was pretty disappointed by it. It was quite average. Songs were a big let down, especially for me. Acting was loud at moments, writing was all over the place. Could have been much better, given Priyadarshan had directed it, since he knows the soul of BB1.
Nevertheless, extremely happy for Kartik. He's got a massive blockbuster (his highest grosser to date) after working hard for so many years. Hope he picks up more interesting projects that will eventually boost his career.
Screenplay: 2/5 Songs & BGM: 2.5/5 Acting: 3/5 Story: 3/5 Production Design & VFX: 3.5/5.

Very mediocre story and extremely over the top performances.
Some dialogues include body shaming other characters. Story could have been more better but it's all about height differences and loud acting. By the ending the story got a bit better but lacks better direction.

There's no toxicity unlike other soap operas, which I hope the writers will continue to avoid as the story progresses.
Coming to the grounded nature of the story and characters, nothing seems to be over the top and presents various challenges people face, very naturally.
The performances by lead cast and supporting ones totally shines. Iqbal, Rachana, Sneha and everyone else is doing a fabulous job. Special mention for Sneha, she looks and acts perfectly. She's not going mad at Dev's character to be in her life. Villains in Indian shows are always in the male lead's home creating havoc. Amba's presence is limited and to the point, hence avoiding overdo and overkill, which is a good thing. Hope the story unfolds slowly like the way it's being done right now.
