An amazing story with good acting skills. But I'm more impressed by the message and POV.
Bullies are predictable, bad guys are predictable, gangs are predictable. We can save ourselves from them by our wise acts. But the cowards from the shadows, the sissy ones from the corner are the worst. They are unpredictable and they don't even know what they are doing, why they are doing. They act on instant emotions. They turn into poisonous insects in no time from being a close friend. They stab you on the back when you need them to watch your back. They destroy friendship, family or any good thing you have, just to get the attention. They crave for attention. They are obsessed with themselves. And they blame others when they mess up.
Weak Hero (yakhanyoungwoong) isn't just brilliant story, it's a deep dive into how interpersonal violence and bullying can affect and harm people long after the physical threat has disappeared. It's a case where I found every episode better than the last. The script and directing use foreshadowing masterfully, there are parallels that provoke so much thought and every moment feels deliberate. There are parallels everywhere, and the use of foreshadowing is deliberate and beautiful. There are some minor issues like, some things are glossed over to fit the runtime but overall I enjoyed the story it told immensely. The character motivations and progression all felt natural and understandable.
This series is not the manifestation top notch acting skills. But the emotion was there. I'm a bit confused by the make up of Yeon Shi Eun (Park Ji-hoon). He seemed like a pale and ill person from the beginning to the end, even though he was not weak at all.

This show is less about Royal family and more about teenage emotions. Basically the handling of
Romantic emotions by the prince and the handling of the leaks of the Crown Prince of Sweden by Royal family. Both scenarios seems more dramatic, less realistic. Acting level was not top tier. Script writing was okay.
From the perspective of reality: This whole show (specially season 2) is full of irresponsible acts by everyone. From the queen herself, to the main characters, even the minor roles including the psychologist. No one has loyalty to the throne, not even the queen. No one has the mentality like a royal family. (except the old guy Jan Olof). If such situation did occur in British or Saudi or Emirati royal family, things would have been handled in a very different way.

Story: 6/10
Acting of KAI: 7/10
Acting of other young actors: 5/10
Grandmother and mom: 6.5/10
Production quality: 6/10 Screenplay: 7/10 Location:8/10
This TV series is basically for KAI fans. But I'm sure most people will enjoy the show. Even the acting was not top notch, it wasn't very bad either. The story was pretty predictable, and there was not much hype. But the viewers who prefer a realistic story rather than some super hype nonsense story, will like this show. If this was a Hollywood show, I would have given it 8, but as a Korean show, I have to give it 6. Because Korean TV series are on another level. So this series is not on the top level Korean series chart on my list.
