If you miss the greatness of the America that once was, this is the show for you. It's lighthearted nature was a lot of fun, and both King and Boxleitner had fantastic chemistry. The show doesn't worry about anything but having a good time. A fun spy series with admittedly improbable plotlines that a family could generally watch with few content concerns. The concept is strained -- a housewife stumbles into spying -- but Kate Jackson's and Bruce Boxleitner's sprightly charm make for a diverting series. The consistent way with the series: the house-wife demonstrating a mental agility that leaves the agent playing catch-up. It, combined with a vague sexual tension, propels the show. As I say, America when it was pure.
I thought Big Brother did a great job with this cast after last years rascist debacle which gave them their lowest rated season by far. I had started rooting for Taylor after she stood up to Daniel and Nicole after they had viciously gone after her. But now she has shown her sad true self by saying she will not nominate a "black woman". Can anyone tell me what difference skin color makes when playing a game? Don't you want the best and most deserving player to win? I just wish that Big Brother could screen the contestants better and get a houseful that can look past race.
Co-creator Marta Kaufman has come out against the show in a Woke/Cancel Culture move. So my question is: will show give back all the money she made due to the show or at the very least donate to a worthy cause? Another 1 percenter feeling guilty for their wealth as they approach the twilight of their life?
