I really wanted to love this show because I sincerely enjoy westerns.
However the acting is generally very bad, even Aidan Gillen, which I was shocked by because he was spectacular in GoT. The writing is subpar and though I'm on episode 3 I still have no grasp on the actual story. There is also very little character development overall.
I will say the main redeeming factor, which is why I didn't give it a 3 star review, is that it is shot phenomenally well.
I'm basically watching this for the settings, shots and violence at this point. Which makes me sad because this had the potential to be really great.
Oh well.

This is essentially a remake of the movie California Split (1974).
The only exception in the plot is they go to New Orleans instead of Reno.
I do love Ryan Reynolds though and it was entertaining to watch.

The acting, writing, and shots are all very good.
I was pleasantly surprised because my standard for gangster movies is quite high.
Definitely worth a watch.
