It was an absolute masterclass of blending different worlds together. I loved having an old-school unqpologetic Lgbtqia+ hero given the spotlight right alongside the protagonist. The lessons in that there are so many unique versions of purity and that the most beautiful worlds are left blending them all alongside each other. It was well written and beautifully animated with so much heart and no hand-holding, just unapologetically itself. I absolutely loved it. I worry that a newer generation that wasn't raised around taking the power back from words and feeling the fire that comes from taking hold of your own destiny could get bogged down but I have faith that the lesson was well within view. If you want action, are LGBT-friendly, enjoy other cultures and can enjoy the infinite ways the world twists us all up - I absolutely recommend it.
Vs The World starts with a bang and ends as the most basic and uninteresting showing Drag Race has ever offered. I've never been less invested in a season finale and I really don't see anyone putting in on another international season when they'll know the goal is for the queens to be as mediocre as possible to get to the end.
When this show is based on talent, it has stakes and intrigue - once you take away all that, you're basically watching a lazily written sitcom. I was genuinely bored.

Every time they show Maddy make these funny scripts for everyone and have clearly awesome jokes but they cut so much out. Like, I get it that they are against a straight queen winning but let her skills show before you find an excuse to kick her. There's no reason to edit out her skills.
