This was an "ABC Afterschool Special", or "CBS Schoolbreak Special", or NBC, or one of those, about a father & son switching places while the son is in sleepaway camp. It was also actually a sequel to "Freaky Friday", in which the MOTHER & DAUGHTER were the ones who switched places. Another sequel was also one of those ABC, or CBS, or NBC whatever specials entitled, "A Billion For Boris", about a TV that has the next day's programming and the kids use it to tell the future. Real cute. Both "Freaky" & "Billion" were based on Mary Rodgers books.
Frankly, I don't understand why this movie did better than its predecessor, "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery". This movie was just plain DUMB, DISGUSTING, TASTELESS, and TOTALLY NOT FUNNY!!!! (especially the part where Austin thinks he is drinking coffee, but let's just say it is NOT coffee!) I was just on the edge of my seat, waiting for it to be over! At least the 1st Austin Powers had class!
