L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach (1998)
Buff's still the Stuff
In Marcus "Buff" Bagwell's return to the silver screen, he breathes new life into his complex and multidimensional character, Warrior. Bagwell's presence immediately enhances the performances of the other fledgling actors, who struggle through their scenes until The Stuff makes his heralded appearance. When one takes the time to stop enjoying Bagwell's performance, one becomes instantly aware of the various plot twists and turns that leave viewers begging for more. A third installment of this classic series is definitely in order, with Bagwell spearheading the project. Let's hope he makes a quick return to acting.
Hard Time (1996)
Just when you want to turn it off, this movie gives you a reason to keep watching.
This movie, with its action packed escape sequence and passionate love scenes are reminiscent of a modern Gone with the Wind. Anyone who is a fan of truly fine cinema will find it not only rewarding, but invigorating to watch. You will likely find yourself watching it numerous times to catch the "Hitchcock-esque" devices that make this such a rich film. This dark thriller is borderline between cinema and art, not unlike Tarantino's Pulp Fiction. With its numerous twists and turns, this plot sucks you in and won't let go. It is easy to see from this stirring portrayal of Michael why John Bradley was chosen as the new Robin Hood. Also, it is Jacqueline Lovell's finest work since "I Cream on Jeannie." I will definitely be keeping my eye out for Hard Time II: Angel and Linda's Fiesta.
Revenge of the Nerds (1984)
Does it get any better than this?
Are you kidding? These guys deliver the best comedy you can ask for. As far as the flicks from the early 80's go, this is the film to see... it has all the party scenes, from the drinking to the drugs. I believe this film is truly representative of 80's flick. Absolutlely a must buy and watch again and again.
