Too bad it is not possible to vote ZERO. I've never been so bored and annoyed by a movie. I was glad when it was over. After all the good reviews I had heard, I kept to my seat, expecting that it would suddenly become interesting, but tough luck, after the 80 longest minutes of my life, it was over and I was still waiting to be entertained, moved, scared... or whatever. The word f*** alone must be 20 % of the dialogue. Am I getting too old, or is this movie genuinely bad ?
The first Elvis Gratton picture has become a cult movie. Now we have a sequel done with a small budget rather than the first movie's microscopic one. It may not have the "cult" quality the first one had, but it is rather good, and I recommend it to any Elvis Gratton fan.
I had plenty of good laughs for the first hour or so. On the negative side, the last 10-15 minutes are totally out of place and are really a hard sell of the movie's underlying socio-political theme. I had understood it very well in the first hour. It was unnecessary to "rub it in".

Once again we have a movie where all the money was spent on special effects, and almost none to get a good story (at least I hope they did not pay much for that). The actors could have been good if they had had something interesting to say.
I think IMAX is a wonderful medium. Too bad it is not used to make real movies with a real screenplay.
