I think that this film was extremely good. The actors made the story come to life, even for those of us who don't like the writing of the old masters. I especially would like to congratulate Daniel Radcliffe for an outstanding debut. He is the Oscar winner of the future. Mark my words...
When Komodo Dragon eggs are left on a island the trouble starts. People start disappearing and the reason is quite obvious. To make it all worse the parents of Patrick Connolly are eaten, which leaves him traumatized. Some nutcase shrink thinks the way to treat him is bringing him back to the island where it all happened. The result is a shameless clone of Jurassic Park. All actors, except Kevin Zegers (Patrick) fail to set the right character. Kevin, however, shows his talents and is the only real reason for watching together with the special effects.
Although the actual dying of people is never shown, the feeling that it actually happened is created. In my opinion a great accomplishment. I can totally understand what Philip must have felt. I also liked the links to chemistry. As far as I know they were totally correct and gave the story a nice turn. (I study chemistry).
