This movie is so much fun for so many reasons. It has action, ridiculous dialogue, rampant sexism, a dash of gore, and very funny performances. There are many schools of thought that might say Tawny Kitaen's performance was bad. I disagree. Her blend of innocence, energy, and complete lack of formal actor training are perfect for this movie. Much of the same goes for Brent Huff as the leading man. Watch this film with friends! Oh, and did I mention nudity? It's got that too. An excellent cinematic experience. Sequel, please.
The people at Full Moon are certainly riding the short bus to work now a days. This movie is terrible. It's one film that makes references to other films the film makers have made. Masturbatory idiocy. The acting is rancid from EVERYONE in the cast except Phil Fondocardo as Dracula. The guy is just really good, and Full Moon is lucky to have him. Apparently they know this since he's about 60% of their movies. The plot is pathetic, unfunny, unfrightening, and has no suspense what so ever. If you like this movie, kill yourself.
About 95% of the Puppet shots were patched together from other Puppet Master movies. This produces the interesting effect of having someone from the present chatting face to face with a puppet in 1940's Germany. Did they think we wouldn't notice? It just shows you what these film makers think of their audience.
Then there's the scene in which Tunnler drills a guy between the legs. Where are the guys hands? Flailing around! I think I see a way out of this. Pick up the puppet that is drilling into your balls!
Idiocy. This was the beginning of Full Moon's death.
