State of Grace (2001)
A good show
When I saw previews for State of Grace, I decided that I would watch it and see if it was any good. I didn't expect anything facinating, but I wanted to see what it was like. I watched it the first time that it came on, and was very impressed. It was a lot better than I expected it to be. The characters are realistic and funny, and the plots are all interesting. If you haven't ever seen it, I suggest that you do, because I like it very much and watch it every week.
Holiday in the Sun (2001)
Pretty Bad
I thought this movie was pretty bad as a whole. It just didn't have a plot and the girls acted like total snobs. You'd think they'd be a little more realistic being real teens! They only wore one outfit twice, and they looked like models straight off the runway at the very beginning during the school scene. People would get made fun of if they really wore that stuff to school! They just acted so shallow, and the only way it would have been entertaining is if the point of the movie was that they were supposed to be snobs and exaggerating it too much. I used to enjoy their movies and shows, but this one just had no plot whatsoever. Also, it was kind of strange how the parents never punished the kids for anything they did! Since So Little Time started, the twins have just lost touch with reality.
Ring of Bright Water (1969)
Not the Best Movie Ever
I only saw a few scenes of this movie and was almost bored to tears. True, other scenes may be better, but I could hardly understand a word of what they were saying. The only thing I understood was that the otter's name was "Mitch", but when I looked it up, it was "Mij"! From the short part of it I saw, I can honestly say it was a ridiculous movie (and no offense to anyone who saw the whole thing and liked it).
So Little Time (2001)
Okay
The Olsen twins' new TV series "So Little Time" both disappointed and pleased me. It is somewhat funny, and the characters seem realistic. On the other hand, it's not as good as their last show, "Two of a Kind". On the twins' part, their characters seem about the same as they were on "Two of a Kind", but the humor from Kevin and Carrie is really missed in this one. Also, their housekeeper Manuelo is supposed to be funny, but isn't. You can hardly even understand him! Also, the mother seems so much like Carrie from "Two of a Kind" that it's frightening! I think the show's okay, but it needs improvement.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996)
Watch the TV Show
I am a huge fan of the TV show, but this movie was not exactly like it. I thought that the movie would be like the beginning of the TV series, and have the same cast and set as before. It didn't.
There is no humor in this one, and the aunts seem almost spooky. They're funny in the real show, but in this movie how they shut their eyes and mumble is almost creepy. They seem pretty cool in the show, but in this, they seem hopelessly old-fashioned and eccentric. I also think that this should have had something more to do with the Other Realm and being a witch than popularity and crushes. Also, Salem's voice in this is British, and he doesn't even make one funny remark.
Even though this was far from the quality of the TV series, I am very glad that it aired. If it weren't for this, the show might not have existed! Overall, I'm glad that this movie exists, but I wish it had been like the TV show.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch (1996)
Wonderful
I think that Sabrina, the Teenage Witch is a very great show. I've been watching it for a couple of years now, and some of the older reruns on a different channel.
One of the good things about the show is Salem the Cat. Salem is very funny, especially with his sarcastic remarks. He often ends up in a funny situation, and his mouth tends to get him in big trouble.
Another thing that makes it funny is the aunts. They usually have some sort of wild, interesting problem to deal with sometime in the show. Hilda's probably the funniest, but I like Zelda, too. It's also amusing how they're always talking about things that happened centuries ago, and usually blame Hilda for bad things that happened.
Melissa Joan Hart is the perfect person to play Sabrina. She makes the character come to life, and the interaction between her and Salem is really funny. She knows exactly how to act to play Sabrina, and even as young as she is, does a splendid job!
It's also good how the show can manage to be a funny sitcom about high school and college that any age can watch and be attracted to. I love watching it, and so does my mother, who rarely seems to like shows I watch. Even my grandmother seems to think it's funny! I also know another girl in the third grade that watches it every week. It's good how it can appeal to all ages without having anything objectionable in it.
I'd give it a 10/10.

Second Honeymoon (2001)
Not-so-good
I thought that a former television movie that Roma Downey did, Borrowed Hearts, was wonderful, so I decided to watch this one. Obviously she doesn't try to make these films alike. Roma's character spent almost the whole movie crying! I don't see why she even cared about keeping her marriage with her husband. He'd scream at her and she'd start crying. That was the concept of the whole movie. Roma appeared to be trying hard to make the movie a success, but that apparently didn't happen. It had good ratings, but it might make some of her fans from her former movies stop watching them. It's obvious that some of Roma is capable of making good movies, but this wasn't one of them.
Borrowed Hearts (1997)
Fantastic
I first saw this movie in a re-run, and only saw the last half. After seeing the last half, I just couldn't wait to watch it from beginning to end. This is the kind of movie that after you start watching it you just can't leave it for any reason until it's over. All of the actors and actresses just made it so believable that you felt like you were friends with the characters at the end. I didn't even realize that Roma Downey was playing Kathleen until I'd been watching it for a few minutes. You wouldn't expect her to be good at the part of a struggling single mother, but she really was. It had the perfect casting combination, and the writers also knew what they were doing. It had a great plot, and is a movie that people would enjoy at just about any age. It's rare that you see a movie like this on television today.

Au Pair II (2001)
A SUPER MOVIE
When I saw the commercials, I knew that it would be good. They were even playing commercials for it on the radio! Anyway, last night, I was so excited about watching it. It turned out to be really good. All day at school, I was thinking about when the man jumped off the boat, and disappeared. I almost laughed, during the middle of math! I would give this movie a really good rating, if I could. I would give it 5/5, or 10/10. I was really excited that it was as good as the first one, and anytime that it comes on again, I will want to see it. I really liked Heidi Lenhart's new haircut, but I liked her hair long, too. Anyway, it doesn't matter right now. Bye bye!
Au Pair (1999)
Good Movie
I saw this movie first, when I was at a friend's house, in about 1999. I really liked it, but I forgot how good it was. Then, one day last week, I was flipping through channels, and when I got to Fox Family, I saw that it was on. It was near the beginning, so I watched it. Then, I saw lots of commercials for Au Pair 2. I couldn't wait to watch that. Last night, I watched the World Premire, and loved it. I hope that someday, there is another one.
Full House (1987)
A good show
I wish that the same people would stop writing the EXACT SAME COMMENTS about Full House! It gets annoying to read the exact same things about it being a bad show! At least I can watch it with my whole family, and not have to worry about it containing bad material for my younger sister, or my parents telling me I can't watch it. All my friends watch it, because it's funny (especially when Jesse tries to play sports), and it's one of the only shows on TV that we're allowed to watch! I'm 13, and I hardly get to watch anything! My friends and I are at that age where we can't watch adult things, but we don't want to watch baby things, and Full House is one of those few shows that we can watch, but isn't totally for babies. True, Mary-Kate and Ashley didn't act very well back then, but now they've improved. They really started improving after Two of a Kind. D.J. is fun to watch, and Stephanie has realistic problems toward the end of the show. Too bad it was ripped off TV to put on all that trash.
Two of a Kind (1998)
A great show
I think that Two of a Kind is a really great show. I wish that ABC hadn't cancelled it. It had a really great cast, and kids could watch it. Maybe someday they'll make a movie or something, because millions of fans want to know how it ends.
