This movie was really, really bad. Indescribably bad. Even fans of bad movies should avoid this one at all cost. Horribly cliched dialogue, terrible acting (Ice Cube? Give me a break!), and the plot is just ripped off from "Pitch Black". Except that "Pitch Black" is actually, you know... GOOD.

This is one of the worst films I've ever seen in my entire life. It blows away Highlander II for sheer stupidity, with a jumble of disjointed scenes that don't amount to a film and nothing but horribly trite lines for characters that were once actually interesting. Hopefully after this one, Davis/Panzer will just let this franchise die.

I caught the Winfemme screening of this film in Los Angeles, and was a bit disappointed by it. The performances delivered are solid overall, though a few of the characters just fall flat. Unfortunately there's a few major plot problems I couldn't get over, and some portions did drag with really slow pacing where you're just waiting for something interesting to happen. The actors generally did good jobs, though, and James Marsters in particular delivered a nice performance.
