Clearly inspired by Yojimbo; but not nearly as well made, the American west never looked more cliched.
Plenty of mean two-dimensional thugs and a hail of bullets, ending with our heroes riding off into the sunset (on the modern horse equivalent).
Pretty to look at; but no substance.

The Midnight garden, where two children become friends, learn from one another and grow up. This movie keeps the quiet magic of childhood real, with all it's shocks, tears and pleasures.
My daughter's also adored it (at age 8 & 12).
