Just when you though a worse movie about King Arthur couldn't be made ..This shows up .. really bad!!! Maybe it should be a dumb fantasy about someone else? Bad acting, stupid CGI .. and more!
Completely unrealistic, other than "Arthur" may have had some Roman roots.
The crossbow wasn't invented for hundreds of years after that.
If "Hadrian's Wall" had been that well built and big, I'd be writing this in Latin.
The "Pope" didn't have much power in about 400AD, and certainly couldn't order the army or government to do anything.
Oil in the UK? Finally found under the North Sea, but nearly 2000 years layer.
Other than being totally inaccurate as far as history goes, it's a fun action movie with great(but inaccurate) costumes.
I gave it a 6, as I can watch it a few times.

Great movie, then and now!
Insurgents fight against the armies liberating their country.
The invading army thinks they are freeing the people from an evil government, but have to resort to terror tactics to control the population.
But it's the USA that's being "liberated", and the insurgents are our kids.
Finally the insurgents become heroes of the freed nation.
Interesting as well by the then young actors: Patrick Swayze C. Thomas Howell Lea Thompson Charlie Sheen Jennifer Grey Brad Savage
That makes it even more interesting.
