Merry Andrew (1958)
Excellent!!!!!
One of the best family films I've ever seen. It was excellent in 1958 & still is in 2000. I wish they would make more family films like this. I would recommend this film to everyone. I hope one day it will be released on commercial video and the release of a s/track or cd wouldn't hurt either. I hope these comments explain my feelings about Merry Andrew.
Beneath the 12-Mile Reef (1953)
Excellent !!! Superb !!!
I consider Beneath The Twelve Mile Reef one of the greatest movies that I've ever seen for a number of reasons. Put it this way I wouldn't mind a $ Australian or US for every time that I've seen this movie. Truly one of the all time greats. I would be interested in hearin from anyone else as to what they thought of this movie.
Regards From Patrick

The Great Caruso (1951)
Excellent!!!!! Lanza was & still is the greatest!!!!
I remember seeing The Great Caruso at a Cinema in Melbourne when I was 9 & I've never forgotten it!!!! Unfortunately they don't make movies like that anymore. Ironically that same theatre was where they had the Melbourne Premier of Mario's last film For The First Time on October 7th 1959 the day that Mario Lanza died. I beleive that I speak for most Mario fans around the world, when I say that Mario Lanza was the greatest tenor of them all!!!! I say that with all due respects to Pavartti Carrears & Domingo & many others. I'll never forget you Mario!!!!!
