The genre has been completed. It was the best superhero film ever. It completed an epic journey of superhero films.
Guest's newest pseudo-documentay is as funny as the previous films but more successful. He is able to show the strange, often ridiculous characters as real, and manages to never become mocking. The characters are frighteningly realistic, and the film conveys a satirical yet somehow sympathetic view of it's characters, brilliantly played by the ensemble cast.
Continuing the story of the office worker who is crazy for fishing, this story focuses on a Tokyo office worker, Hamasaki Densuke, and his life as a less-than-focused member of Suzuki Construction. The friendship between Hamasaki and his company president continues, and Hamasaki's quest to become a father is the key element of this installment. Though somewhat less entertaining than the original, it has a lot of laughs, and all of the actors play the comedic moments to perfection. The relationship between the lead character and his wife is touching and funny, and much less tiresome than many "cute" moments in other films. All in all, a great film in a remarkable series.
