Film was originally planned to release on 17th July 2015 alongside Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman Khan who was present at the trailer launch requested the producer Mr. Milind Vishnu and actor Satya Manjrekar to push the release ahead and so the movie was released on 31st July 2015.

Amazing movie. Must watch for every Indian

Films like Janiva show that we in India still make sensible films and not only stupid films like Happy New Year or Kick or some stupid Ramsay horror movie. This movie should be shown to the whole country so the young generation can get inspiration and do something for the betterment of the society. Cheers to the makers of this film - Milind Vishnu & Arvind Kumar...I salute you...Hats off to you...please keep making sensible films. I hope you both continue to make more and more meaningful films in other languages also maybe Hindi as that will be watched by the whole country. Angel's Production & Blue Eye Productions....both companies rock.
