What seems to be a small choice at the time can lead to far-reaching consequences. This film begins in a train station in which four strangers meet. The conversations they have set the stage for their future relationships with one another. Every choice each person makes is meaningful--it is like the Butterfly Effect in Chaos Theory--a small change in initial conditions can lead to large changes in the future.
The acting is excellent, and I felt an emotional tie to the characters. These are characters an audience can care about and with whom they can sympathize and emphasize as they watch the film. It is a deeply moving, powerful film that will leave the audience members thinking about their own choices in life and the consequences that arise from them, both good and bad. I highly recommend this movie.
