What’s Bad: The film definitely feels like something that should be on streaming, from the production values to the way the story moves along.

Loo Break: The first act of a movie should be quite important but here it feels like the story doesn’t start, but on the second act, quite curious.

Watch or Not?: The film becomes a must-see only if you are a huge fan of Gyllenhaal.

The Road House remake exceeded the original on Rotten Tomatoes, setting a positive precedent for future Swayze movie sequels. Road House's positive reviews are a good sign for Dirty Dancing 2, especially since it will feature Jennifer Grey reprising her role as Baby. Dirty Dancing 2 faces challenges in living up to and outperforming the original classic's legacy, and in addressing Swayze's absence.

Jake Gyllenhaal's Road House, a remake of the original 1989 Patrick Swayze movie, earned a solid reception on Rotten Tomatoes, which is a great sign for a long-awaited sequel to one of Swayze's classic movies. Though Road House was mired in controversy throughout its production, and director Doug Liman boycotted the movie for a time, it still managed to be a success. By the end of Road House, viewers were left with a solid movie filled with impressive action set pieces and an emotional farewell, which helped it succeed.

Road House is a very big deal in my family so I was initially concerned when a remake was announced. Thankfully, after watching the film, my worries have been cast aside as I had an absolute blast with it. (You can check out Bumbray’s review Here!) This is just as dumb and fun as the original. Sure, it lacks that 80s charm, but it’s replaced with a modern beachside aesthetic that works. And Conor McGregor is chewing so much scenery that I question how the sets were even standing by the end.

In the wake of 1999 cult favorite The Boondock Saints and 2009 sequel The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, a third movie is on the way soon, Deadline reports today.

Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery are both set to return in a brand new Boondock Saints movie from Thunder Road and Dragonfly Films, the report indicates.

The new movie is said to be “a reimagining of the action film franchise.” The report this morning continues, “The story will involve the indoctrination of new Saints.”

Troy Duffy, who directed both the 1999 original movie and its 2009 sequel, will not be returning to direct the third installment. However, Deadline notes in their report that “Duffy plans to write a series of books about the Saints, continuing their story that way.”

In the original Boondock Saints, “Two Irish Catholic brothers (Norman Reedus & Sean Patrick Flanery) become vigilantes and wipe out Boston’s criminal underworld in the name of God.

Hemsworth's flamboyant Dementus is a memorable and eccentric villain, fitting perfectly into the cartoony world of the Mad Max franchise. Allowing Hemsworth to lean into his comedic strengths creates a more entertaining antagonist in Furiosa, adding depth to the character. Over-the-top villains like Dementus are a staple in the Mad Max movies, blending absurdity with genuine menace for a unique and entertaining experience.

While Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’s villain Dementus looks perfect, the reason that Chris Hemsworth is ideal for the role may not be the one that viewers expect. As a blockbuster veteran at this point, the star has appeared in numerous record-breaking MCU outings, in addition to supporting roles in Snow White and the Huntsman and two Star Trek movies. However, his professional experience isn’t the only thing that makes him a perfect fit for the upcoming Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, where he plays a character named Dementus.

Desert Road is a smart, mysterious, and character-driven time loop thriller with surprising twists. Kristine Froseth delivers an exceptional performance, portraying Clare's emotions with intensity. The film's nonlinear storytelling, seamless execution, and unique ending make it a powerful and creative debut.

Written and directed by Shannon Triplett, in her directorial feature debut, Desert Road is a complex story that is handled with ease. There aren’t too many first-time directors who would be able to tackle such a multilayered story, one involving nonlinear events wrapped in mystery, with such nuance and emotional intensity. There are a lot of things that could have gone wrong, but Triplett directs with confidence, bringing style, intrigue, and character depth to a story that will keep you engaged and holding your breath in suspense for what comes next.

A litter of female puppies got both thanks to the Helen Woodward Animal Center in Rancho Santa Fe, California. Two weeks ago, rescuers discovered 19 puppies from four to five different litters living in the East Los Angeles dump. The offspring of neglected junkyard dogs, the pups were sadly treated like the trash that surrounded them.

Outraged that these sweet, little 4-to-6-week-old dogs were being deprived the chance to lead a life full of love, food and clean fur, a rescue group pulled the puppies from the dump and brought them to Helen Woodward Animal Center.
