It starts with a fight in a tea house. After the credits, the townspeople panic seeing a tiger in the woods. Grandpa gets his bow and seems to be going to kill it. Instead, out on a boat, they are attacked by a sea serpent. They end up in a town where Tien Yeh is bullying everyone. Yet he stops being a jerk around the girl. A fight starts in the tea house. Tien Yeh tosses people around and breaks stuff. In the next scene, the guy who fought Tien Yeh has kidnapped the girl. There is a long fight sequence to rescue her.
This is a typical Taiwanese martial arts movie from the 1960s. It stars Tien Yeh. His career of about 120 movie credits matches the golden age of martial arts movies from 1967 to 1984. I have never found any further information about the man. In this movie his acting is basically strutting around like Toshiro Mifune.
My copy of this movie is a digital file that plays on a HDTV in 4:3 format with Chinese dialog and subtitles. I do not understand Chinese but could follow the story despite the language barrier. I did not like the movie, rate it just below average, and even if I found an English version I would not care to watch it again.
