You can gamble your money by fighting enemies one on one in arenas. This is risky as you can lose your money in a losing battle by running away or getting killed.
But if you win a one on one battle, you win money that's needed to by weapons, items for your game also you get experience points and you can level up your weapon from E to A level even by healing your units with a healing stave.
You can also get experience points and level up your weapon from E to A level by boss abuse battles, be careful not to kill the boss or you'll have to move on to the next campaign. This will take a while to level grind weapon levels and experience points.
Also you can find bullion items to sell for over 10000 gold. Also once you get the silver card, you get a 50% discount on all the items. But keep in mind it doesn't work while you're shopping in the battle preparation mode, also the unit has to hold a silver card and run up to the armory or vendor for it to work.

First of all pay attention to what's happening to your allies and enemies HPs. It also helps if you know math and how much your character subtracts HPs from the enemy.
Also to have a guaranteed win, bring Marth, thieves, swordsman, archers and pegasus, dragon knights to fight, Do not bring Knight units, axe men, or slow moving characters as they will have bad accuracy and may be attacked twice or getting slammed by a 3x critical blow which will likely kill them.
Also you have very limited save points which can make it frustrating and intense and may cause you to start all over should something go wrong.
Also everytime you win the arena battles, have your cleric or sage or bishop use their heal, mend, and recover staff to heal your units and in turn get experience points.
Once you farmed enough experience points and collected enough money, you can move on with powerful allied units.
