This documentary shows the impossible task of the United Nations Committee on Missing Persons in Cyprus to discover the burial sites of the missing caused by the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 as well as the bi-communal troubles of 1963-64 between the Greek and the Turkish Cypriots, the process of exhuming and identifying the remains in order to give closure to the families, and to put an end to this humanitarian issue which has been haunting both communities of the island for 50 years.
