Guardian

The plot is almost non-existent in this movie, you won't get anything till near the end, but it is just a revenge movie. Some thugs break into a home and violently kill a policeman who was investigating them, the mother escapes with the child and prepares for the eventual showdown. I'm not sure if Sarah Carter is the mother or the guardian, it doesn't become clear until the end. There is a lot of ridiculous action, they use more bullets than Homeland Security and there are more crashes than the Blues Brothers. Don't forget the rocket launchers. Some of the SFX are great and other parts you can see where they ran out of money. The acting is OK, but do you really expect Oscar winning performances in an action movie? This is one of those movies that many would call a 'guilty' pleasure. (I see no reason to be 'guilty' of enjoying something, as long as you aren't harming others) Not a great movie and not an awful movie, if you like shoot-em-ups or martial arts movies this is worth a watch.
