What's left unsaid...

This is a witch movie in the most visceral sense: the female leads and the historical local witch overlaps and mirror each other. Pregnancy, sisterhood, marriage are also discussed and are functional to the supernatural story.

These themes, however, never get fully explored and the plot only briefly touches them in favour of a more mainstream horror route. The timing is also a problem: the movie is slow and not much happens until the end. Which is why I can't give it more than a 6. Minute.
