- After 15 years of friendship and peacefull life together Volfgang finally decides to marry Jana but suddenly old friend of Jana arrives - alive doll named Bella who isn't good girl and who doesn't want to give Jana away to Volfgang without fight.
- Bella is not a child of sadness. She lives her sexuality freely, smokes, drinks and is not opposed to the occasional drug trip. What really makes Bella special though, is her appearance: she is a doll, only about 1,5 feet tall, with red braids and a devilish grin. Bella has been a best friend to the square Jana (Laura Berlin) since before she could remember, but they haven't seen each other in years. On Jana's engagement day, the once famous Bella - who is now broke and homeless - makes her way back into Jana's life. Jana, who has no family of her own, is delighted to have her new, old best friend back and readily offers Bella a place to stay with her and her partner Wolfgang (Tom Beck). He is anything but pleased with the new situation - he sees Bella as the manifestation of evil in the shape of a doll. And this might not be too far from the truth. Confronted with Bella's uninhibited way of life, Jana begins to wonder if she should really to spend the rest of her life with her first and only love Wolfgang.—Wiedemann & Berg Television
