When Sofi meets Quique, she realizes that she has more dreams and passions than she thought. Meanwhile, ex-boyfriend and football team captain Alan tries to stop Quique from overshadowing him.
In the theatre workshop, Quique's stage fright betrays him while auditioning for the lead role, pushing him away from Sofi, who had already got the female lead role. If he fails, Alan could take the role from him - and Sofi.
The kids are excited for this year's homecoming dance. Quique sees this as an opportunity to get to know Sofi better, but Alan is also willing to ask her out.
The entire school is in high spirits as the day to choose the cheerleader captain has arrived, a tradition founded by Jenny. Clodomira warns Sofi that if she doesn't succeed, her athletic scholarship could be revoked.
It's the homecoming dance. Everyone has their date except for Jackie and Mini, who make a bet to take their own dates out or pay each other's lunch for a month. Mini has his eyes set on Brenda, but Jackie does everything to stop him.
The group enters the pizzeria all messy. They talk about everything that has happened hours before. The decorations are spectacular and the theatre teacher announces that there will be a prom king and queen; those who dance the best win.
Alan wants to become king, like last year when he was dating Sofi, but she refuses; what she wants is to dance her favorite song with Quique. As for Quique, he wants to sing a song to Sofi, but everything gets out of control.
The grand opening of the La Nona pizzeria arrives. Quique delivers advertising brochures, but Alan takes advantage of this to inform the principal that illegal advertising is being distributed at the school.
Quique wants to declare his love to Sofi, but he doesn't have the courage to do so. Mini gives him advice to conquer her. When he finds out, Alan miraculously becomes his best friend and tells him that he'll give him advice to conquer her.
Jackie firmly intends to win the talent show to earn the love of her parents, but Alan wants to prevent it, since he cannot allow his twin sister to steal part of their parents' devotion they feel for him.
