A complicated, out-of-control, deep, dark but still straight-forward and satisfying thriller flick. Everything are cooked up with an array of tension and creepy visuals. You'll be surprised the whole time.

If you're expecting a scary horror movie with the usual angry ghosts trying to kill people, this is not the right film. I'd only loosely classify it as horror, depending on your definition. It's really more of a mystery/thriller with some light supernatural elements.

That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed it and it kept my interest throughout. The characters were enjoyable and even though some parts of the plot were predictable, I was still surprised by things I didn't foresee and the story fit together very well at the end. There was really nothing spooky or scary about it, but the story itself was interesting enough that this didn't bother me.

I highly recommend this movie, only if the story/characters are more important to you than getting scared.
