Let me start off by saying I thought the film was decent for what it was. Some parts made me laugh, some of it fell flat. It looked pretty low budget and sometimes the camera tricks they did were obnoxious. The soundtrack is probably the best part of it. Without giving too much away, the characters are the ones making the soundtrack as they go, and the lyrics actually made me laugh out loud a couple times. It's a movie about three dudes who set a trap to get their school bullies and some ladies to kill each other and the biggest problem I had with it is it took forever to get to this moment. When it did though, the bully stuff was also pretty funny. I watched it all the way through, the ending was decent except the lighting was kind of distracting. All in all, if you can watch it for free online like I did, and you've got nothing better to do, you could enjoy it.

I'll just say, right off the bat, that I'm not a fan of the found footage genre. In my opinion, they are often rather hokey. Worse yet, they take themselves way too seriously.
For those reasons, I really enjoyed "Found Footage." The writers took the genre and flipped it on its head. It's a strong satire - not one in the "Scary Movie" vane of spoofs - that really blasts the tropes and clichés you expect in found footage films. Every element of the genre is mocked in a satisfying way.
Best yet, the humor is solid. No cheap gags. No cheesy punchlines. A solid blend of the "Cabin in the Woods" wryness with "Super Bad" realism.
I will say that the movie has a few pointedly political moments. They're interesting observations of society, but you're kind of smacked in the face by them. In the long run, they don't really detract from the movie, though.
Overall, I'm glad I had the opportunity to watch it. It was a much desired reprieve from all the god-awful found footage films out there.

I randomly found this movie on Youtube, and it was not at all what I was expecting. Which turned out to be a good thing.
I've always liked found footage films, so when I found this one (no pun intended :]) I was expecting something really dark. That was based on the description. But I quickly got into and realized it was a satire. At first I was annoyed. But then they get to a point where the characters were editing the film as they went, to add music back in and stuff. That was hilarious (a great idea for spoofing the genre). Once I got to that point, I was hooked.
Solid laughs throughout. Some sequences are a little slow, but everything that was brought up in the beginning pays off really well.
Not my typical movie, but I wound up watching it over. Funnier the second time around.
Low budget for sure, but that adds to the humor. Also, it actually felt like a found footage movie - unlike Chronicle or The Last Exorcism (or a dozen others).
Would definitely recommend watching it. It's slow at some points and the humors probably not for everyone, but it's a really fun spin on the genre.
