Principal photography has begun on the DreamWorks Pictures film adaptation of David Finkel’s book, Thank You For Your Service, it was announced today by the studio. The film stars Miles Teller (Whiplash), Haley Bennett (The Girl on the Train), Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders), Amy Schumer (Trainwreck), Beulah Koale (The Last Saint), Scott Haze (Child of God), Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider), Brad Beyer (42), Omar Dorsey (Selma) and Jayson Warner Smith (The Birth of a Nation).
Oscar nominated screenwriter Jason Hall (American Sniper) makes his directorial debut on Thank You For Your Service. Hall also wrote the screenplay for the story that follows a group of U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq who struggle to integrate back into family and civilian life, while living with the memory of a war that threatens to destroy them long after they’ve left the battlefield. According to Deadline, Joe Naufahu (Spartacus: Vengeance, The Last Saint, The Kick, Go Girls) has booked a recurring gig on season 6 of Game O Thrones. The site doesn't have any specifics on who he'll be playing, but there's a decent chance he's been cast in one of the new Dothraki roles. In the season 5 finale, Dany find herself surrounded by a khalasar so there's bound to be a few characters from that group emerging as more prominent players. Could Naufahu be Khal Jhaqo, perhaps? We'll update as soon as we know more. Game Of Thrones will return next April. ...
