Based on Sebastian Barry's novel The Secret Scripture which is one of the McNulty Family series of books.

Goofs
Eric Bana is driven around in a Volvo 245 Station wagon, but the only time he is shown inside the car it is obviously a sedan model with a sloped roof and rounded rear windows, quite different from the boxy 80s Volvo seen from the outside.

I had to cry in the end. I just imagine how many have suffered similar faiths. It is a wonderful film. Great actors. Great photography.

One thing that also makes me sad, almost every film has lower ratings than it deserves! I honestly don't understand people who have to be so harsh on everything. That is why I give 10 stars to every film of tv show I loved!

Great job everyone, this was a well made story.
