A human rights attorney's murder while probing a high-ranking soldier's involvement in civilian disappearances prompts her detective partner to pursue the dangerous case, undeterred by threats.

Maria del Rosario Duran, a human rights attorney investigating the participation of a top ranking military man in the disappearance of a group of young civilians, is mysteriously murdered. Detective Jorge Salcedo who was working with her on the case, gives himself to the task of discovering who's behind this crime, at risk of becoming the next victim.—Camilo de la Cruz
