- It's the Halloween season, and Randy is here to review Halloween Ends, the latest movie in the Halloween David Gordon Green trilogy, as well as the final Halloween movie that will ever be released ever. The entire Halloween franchise and legacy has been leading to this. But before Randy breaks down the movie and shares his thoughts, he first takes back to the birth of cinema. He explains how in 1896, people watched a film where a train arrived at a station, and they were terrified because they actually thought they were going to get run over. He then flashes forward to 1978, where John Carpenter made Halloween, and the studio wanted him to make a sequel. Reluctant, he makes Halloween II and Halloween III: Season of the Witch. Randy mentions how people hated it at the time, because Michael Myers wasn't in it. Randy breaks down the massive slasher trend of the 1980's, and how Michael Myers returned just in time for Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, and then how the following sequels take a nosedive. Randy flashes forward to 1998, where the studio reboots the series with Halloween H20: 20 Years Later, and then reaches the pinnacle of the franchise with Halloween: Resurrection. Randy explains the 2000's trend of remaking classic horror films, and how Rob Zombie made two Halloween movies. Afterwards Randy takes us to the 2010's and 2020's with David Gordon Green's Halloween trilogy, which revived the franchise, took a dip with Halloween Kills, and then ends the trip through time at Halloween Ends: the end of an entire legacy and saga. Lastly, Randy shares his thoughts on Halloween Ends, and dances at the iconic Michael Myers house.—Kyle
