Buckley plays Samson, Angie’s not-so-bright lawyer who, in addition to providing legal counsel, provides Angie with anything she needs…be it copious amounts of rosé or sex.

The multi-camera pilot stars Ruffin playing the dual roles of twin sisters Angie and Amber. Angie is the ruthless CEO of AngieCorp, who is as heartless as she is rich.

The oldest filmmakers in Hollywood were physical comics, and they can all rest easy knowing Adam Devine is upholding their tradition. The "Righteous Gemstones" star is best known for his work as a comedian, but he also loves performing his own stunts — the more dangerous the better. Exclusive: Blake Anderson has this week become the newest member of the Workaholics team to sign with CAA. The actor, comedian, writer, and producer is joined there by longtime collaborators Adam Devine and Anders Holm, who inked their deals last week and in the fall of 2021, respectively.

Anderson, Devine and Holm co-created, wrote, exec produced and starred in the hit sitcom about college-dropout roommates working as telemarketers in Rancho Cucamonga, California, which ran for seven seasons on Comedy Central from 2011-2017.

Devine is an actor, comedian, writer and producer perhaps best known as the co-creator and star of the hit Comedy Central series Workaholics, which ran for seven seasons between 2011 to 2017.

He’s also starred in features that have accrued nearly 2B globally, including such hits as the Pitch Perfect film series, Neighbors, The Intern and Why Him?, along with studio animated features like Ice Age: Collision Course.

Unfortunately, Adam Devine took to Instagram to say that Paramount+ has cancelled the Workaholics movie, just five weeks before shooting was set to begin filming.

“Impractical Jokers” will return on April 2 with a special “supersized” episode that will be simulcast for the first time on TBS and TNT in addition to TruTV. The roadblock will air on all three Turner channels right after coverage of the NCAA Men’s Final Four.

This reps the first new episode of “Impractical Jokers” since August, and the first since Joe Gatto announced his departure from the show and the Tenderloins troupe. Remaining stars Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray and Sal Vulcano are back, and the special will include comedian Eric André (“The Eric André Show”) as a guest.

A “Pitch Perfect” series has been ordered at Peacock with Adam Devine onboard to reprise his role from the film franchise, Variety has learned exclusively.

The series is set several years after the events of the films. Devine returns as Bumper Allen, who moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin.

Bumper was the main antagonist of the first film and the leader of the all-male a cappella group The Treblemakers. He returned in the second film as a supporting character and the love interest of Rebel Wilson’s character, Fat Amy. He worked as a backup singer for John Mayer before returning to his alma mater, Barden University, as a security guard.

Four creators of “Workaholics” — which ended its seven-season Comedy Central run in 2017 — are reuniting this spring on Netflix. Adam Devine (the “Pitch Perfect” franchise), Anders Holm (“The Mindy Project”), and Blake Anderson (“Dope”) star in Kyle Newacheck’s “Game Over, Man!,” an upcoming feature reminiscent of “The Hangover” set in Los Angeles (complete with a trashed hotel room and a blast-from-the-past scene partner, à la Mike Tyson).

In the Holm-penned script, a trio of video game creators watches in horror as party-goers are taken hostage on live television, including their financier and Shaggy, the Jamaican singer of the 2000 hit “It Wasn’t Me,” which serves as the trailer’s soundtrack.
