The episode title, "Sick as your Secrets", is based on a mantra well-known by members of Alcoholics Anonymous, working the 12-step program. It basically means that a secret kept in the dark grows and becomes more harmful, but once it is exposed to light or released, its power is lost.

Goofs
Father Bobby identifies the killer having previously heard his confession and therefore knowing he was guilty. In reality, breaking the Seal of Confession like this would not only have meant the end of Bobby's ministry, but also excommunicated him from the Catholic Church entirely.

Outstanding Episode The Best So Far

I have not liked the ncis: origins series terribly much until this episode but I had to give a shout out to the show for this one. I really liked the storyline and the use of a priest who cannot share a confession. It was gripping and surprisingly relatable. While the outcome is implausible, it is good entertainment.

This episode focused on Agent Bernard 'Randy' Randolf and we learn the backstory of his relationship to Gibb's past. I think I liked it because it was so emotional and the actor who plays a young Gibbs is so placid that it was a refreshing change.

Randy, played by Caleb Foote, did an excellent job in his role. It seems every costar gets to shine in an episode, and this was his. The actor who played the priest was also compelling and one could relate to his emotions as well.

Bravo to the writers for this 8th episode of ncis: origins. Please write more of this type of story. The other actors are growing on me as well and I hope they get their chance to shine soon.
