Worst game ever made

This is genuinely the worst video game ever created, not just in sports but in video game history. Ea are too comfortable not fixing their games or changing anything because they get away with gambling, absolutely atrocious and until another company can compete with these frauds they'll continuously rob everyone. Rubbish gameplay, getting kids into gambling their money. If I could give this game a whole 0 it still wouldn't deserve that.

Copy and paste from fifa 20 onwards, the fact that they get away with this same rubbish every single year is so so concerning, no morals just a greedy company of absolutely scum.

The Worst FIFA/FC Game

Where do I even start with this game? It's truly awful. Everyone hated on FIFA 23 and FC 24 but i actually quite enjoyed them but this game is truly awful and deserves the hate. Allow me to simply list some problems;

1) Regardless of the difficulty level or quality of the team, they all seem to play like the world's best.

2) The passing is completely broken.

3) the game is rife with bugs & glitches.

4) Ratings are Irrelevant, all goalkeepers are absolutely awful.

5) The players are SO slow but the opposition players will always be faster.

I played games as full strength Bayern & Man City against low league teams and lost both. This game is simply awful. Don't waste your money and to be honest, I wouldn't bother with FC 26 either. It'll probably be just as bad.

BIG IMPROVMENT FROM EA

When it comes to fifa or fc we all have opinions for instance mine is fifa 18 and fifa 23 are the best games. But im sure we can all agree fc 24 was one of the worst games ever. Anyway i thought fc 25 would be same but i was definitly wrong i can say after 200 hours on the game the improvment is massive. And it is so simple how they have improved for example the details in gameplay in career mode in cutscences how you play the game tatcics etc. Has never been so easier whilst the game has become a lot more realistic there is ovbisuly still work to be done but it feels like ea are getting back to making there iconic game that every football fan loves.

Arguably the worst football game ever made.

This game is a complete joke. Ea losing their rights to use the fifa name, so what they do is pump promo and promo after promo week in week out. I've played every fifa game since 07 and the downfall started after the last great fifa which was 18. It has gotten worse each year. Ea and 2k should be banned from making sports games they're incapable of making a great game. Always buggy and awful servers but one thing they always make sure that's working is the store. No matter what you will always be able to use the store. I have given up with Ea and their greed. I will not buy another title again.

Love this game

For comedy, for laughs, for big gaps in Goals, silly encounters, this one is up their with fun, and the changes distilled into the game are actually really nice and neatly presented, the game isn't the best, but what it gets right is the tone and the classic match and Career modes have always been a fun game and feature to use.

Firstly, I like the fact you can see the teamsheet in a more calming way, special because they changed it slightly and improved it, I also like the fact they made these changes. And secondly, the last five games is a brilliant change and brings new life into the game bringing realism, specialness and shows the commitment this year. Thirdly and NOT lastly, is the game has managed to show the fun features of how highly and adequately your team is doing, like the ATT 77 MID 80 DEF 79 and it's fun to notice the weak points and elevate your team and show it in a nice format. And lastly, the team spirit and the moral is easily boosted by showing us the front cover pages, the positive messaging. These are all showcases of good signs.

Whilst the game isn't really up to the standards, I still like they implied and re-introduced some core elements into football. The realism is their, even if everything else needs abit of work still. Oh, and the goal animations is also a new cool thing that gives it a breath-of-fresh-air feel. So you can demise the game for it's problems for sure, the homewrecker of a game, but the changes and the new ideas makes it seem alittle more elegant and flashes it out enough to give it the daylight one of these games deserve.

And the form thing is an expressive way to show validation and to show the commitment in your team. The comedy moments are also top-notch, glitches, no balls and nothing has been patched. But the goal variation actually looks beutiful and has the effort in place.

So, I'd maybe give it lower in general, but it deserves some praise as I mentioned earlier and not to glaze it too much, but the bonuses are their, and if they can patch the glitches up, I genuinely think it could be a higher quality game, and the graphics have also improved on regens and other players who look more similar now, and the touchline or the events before the match give it that crisp look and spark of originality and finally that legacy will catch up to them.

I'd rate this an 8 because of the nice changes, neater format and brighter looking version of the game. The Comedy is also gold. Very enjoyable and engaging.

One thing away from making this a GOD MODE soccer game

10 out of 10 - A Strong Evolution, but the Future Lies in the Details

EA Sports FC 25 is a worthy successor in the long line of football simulation games. The gameplay is smoother, the animations more realistic, and the feel of the pitch more immersive than ever before. Whether you're a career mode diehard, an Ultimate Team strategist, or a couch match regular, FC 25 delivers on all major fronts.

But the real conversation is this: how do we elevate football games from "really good" to truly legendary? The answer lies in total representation.

The Good:

Gameplay Mechanics Player movement feels natural and intelligent. Defensive lines hold their shape more effectively, and attacking plays now require true tactical awareness. Ball physics are crisp, and the improvements to first touches, skill moves, and passing windows are noticeable. EA has been refining the engine for years, and FC 25 reflects that maturity.

Graphics & Atmosphere Stadium lighting, crowd behavior, and player faces have all been upgraded. When you're playing in big matches - whether it's a Champions League night or a heated derby - the tension is real. Commentary has more dynamism, and crowd chants bring every moment to life.

Career Mode & Manager Features Expanded scouting, youth development, and deeper AI management options give you more control over the growth of your squad. You're not just playing matches - you're shaping the future of the club.

Ultimate Team Whether you love or hate the card grind, it remains as addictive as ever. Cross-play integration works well, and squad building challenges keep things fresh.

The Future: Full Stadium & League Likeness

Let's talk about the one major frontier that remains: universal stadium and league inclusion.

Imagine a world where every single professional stadium - from Q2 Stadium in Austin to Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte - is fully rendered, with crowd behavior, field dimensions, architecture, and team-specific atmosphere captured in stunning detail. Imagine walking out with Austin FC in Career Mode and seeing every seat filled, the supporters' section roaring like it does in real life.

It's not just about the big European clubs anymore. MLS, USL, Liga MX, NWSL, AFC, and lower European leagues all have devoted fanbases and unique stadium experiences that deserve recognition.

Including every league, every stadium, and every crest - with full broadcast-style presentation - would make the game universally authentic. That's where greatness lies. Not just in gameplay polish, but in total immersion.

Final Verdict

FC 25 is a high-quality entry in the franchise, packed with impressive detail, excellent gameplay flow, and a clear respect for the sport. But the key to turning this from a yearly sports release into a global cultural artifact?

Bring every stadium. Bring every league. Make every player feel like their team and city matters.

Until then, FC 25 is damn good - no question.

10 out of 10. But greatness? That's coming... when every pitch gets its place.
