If you have watched football for more than five minutes you will understand that every decision made by any AI player at any moment in this game is dumb as ****., and if you doubt this, play as a single player in career mode and watch everyone on the pitch try and fail to **** a doorknob.

The very basics of football are pretty basic; defend by standing between the ball and the goal, attack by running into the space in front of you. Yes, football is a little more complicated than that, but it is built on those foundations. There isn't a player on this game who understands that, or a programmer apparently.

Assisted passing is always the absolute worst version of what you intended.

Imagine, you are stood five feet away from a gate that is ten feet wide, your target stands fifteen feet away, positioned in the centre - somehow (with assisted passing) you kick the ball straight into gatepost .... You've missed the pass by fifteen feet, which is insane.

The worst thing is, it was never this bad. Ten years ago the game made sense.

This is genuinely the worst video game ever created, not just in sports but in video game history. Ea are too comfortable not fixing their games or changing anything because they get away with gambling, absolutely atrocious and until another company can compete with these frauds they'll continuously rob everyone. Rubbish gameplay, getting kids into gambling their money. If I could give this game a whole 0 it still wouldn't deserve that.

Copy and paste from fifa 20 onwards, the fact that they get away with this same rubbish every single year is so so concerning, no morals just a greedy company of absolutely scum.
