Andy Petersen Thought of the concept during a funeral service he attended. IT was originally supposed to be a heist film that used Hearse's as getaway vehicles.
The Original script did not have anything to do with Los Angeles. It wasn't until Andy and Cameron decided to go out West and shoot a final scene with Roy Williams Jr. and Said Faraj.
Andy Petersen Considers this film a "new aged Pulp Film". There is not a single 'Main Character', nor is there an A,B,C format like most films.
The entire Soundtrack was dedicated to old classics from Andy Petersen's personal Favorites. One including his favorite artist, Sam Cooke. He also used Sam Cooke in "Saltwater Cowboys".
Nick Slatkin was the voice of Trapper, the radio host heard throughout the film.
