It was great to be able to see Babymetal on the big screen with awesome sound. It was the next best thing to being there. It was an awesome setlist, with all the amazing visuals and crowd interaction you'd expect from one of their Japanese arena shows. The girl's performance was awesome as ever.
A couple of complaints. In post-production, they inserted several artificial flaws to simulate an old-time analog film reel, which I found a bit distracting. Also, some of the edits were happening so quickly that there wasn't time enough to process what I was seeing.
This isn't Babymetal's most important show ever, nor is it close to being the biggest crowd that they've played to in Japan. Chances are, if you're a Babymetal fan, this won't end up being your favorite concert. What it is, is a great big screen experience for those of us who will never be fortunate enough to see them live in Japan.
