First Do No Harm is simply excellent. I enjoyed watching it very much. I laughed and cried and even grit my teeth with anger at times. First Do No Harm does a great job of depicting and supporting the pro-life position. You will be confronted by several real life situations that arrest your thoughts and cause you to respond in some sort of fashion. Please consider bringing this film to your church, synagogue, school, place of employment, and even show it in your home. You will not be disappointed. You may in fact be challenged in your position on the issue of life. It may even encourage and equip you to defend every life -- born and unborn. I urge everyone to watch this film with an open mind. But don't just watch the film, take action. Engage in the process of encouraging others to stand up for life as well. Remember, life is created and was designed by the great Creator. Protect life and defend it, because life is a gift!

I was fortunate enough to be on the outside looking in when the film was being made, and even then, the storyline was compelling. During the Premiere, I was again moved by the story as it unfolded before my eyes. Last night I was able to share the video with my small group and wiped away the tears as I considered how close to life, and death, were the scenes and dialog before me. I am making it my personal responsibly to recommend and share this film with as many as I can. The cast and crew should be proud for bringing such an important message to the public in such a professional manner. It is a delight to see so many talented artisans and technicians be a part of this most important message.

The film was well produced and had a very thought provoking end. It seemed to be well produced, better than I expected from a film of it's nature and content. Acting seemed above average, It seemed like a lot of work had gone into the production values, acting and scene design. As a father, I appreciated the handling of what could have been rather disturbing scenes. They were handled well without drawing undue attention to what could have been unnecessary horrific images, if left up to the usual Hollywood standard. Well not intended in my opinion for young children, It actually offered a lot to think about for high school aged and even college aged youth. I think a lot of people will be made to think about where they really stand on certain issues.
This movie was believable and unbelievable at the same time. The characters were authentic and pulled my emotional strings. It made real life connections and got its message across. The music worked well with the action. The film used local and national celebrities for flavor. The song at the end was a great match. I left challenged to think and act. This was a great example of how a short film that is to the point without frills can be very effective. I think it could be extended into a full length film in the future. The open endings could be closed satisfactorily. I'd like to see what happened with the main characters and some of the supporting ones. It left me wanting more.
Having had a small part in the production of this film, my review is a little biased. I was probably the only actor without formal acting experience and was honored to be asked to portray the part of School Resource Officer Bob Simpson. Having been a police officer as a profession, I was intrigued with the storyline in light of "pro-coice" court rulings and the apparent disconnect between those rulings and laws enforced. I was extremely impressed with the final product that was presented, despite my lack of acting ability and experience. This film is thought provoking and demands a position on the life of an unborn human being.
