It is December 2013 in Stockholm and 11-year-old Stella is left to live with her strict grandmother at the city museum, because Stella's father is busy at work.
Sture is working on the evil prime minister's future rocket. Hedenhösarna prepares to go and light the star. At the museum, Stella finds a magical fairy tale.
Hedenhösarna lifts with the wooden rocket and goes towards the black hole. Stella has to steal her grandmother's keys to take a closer look at the fairy tale
The Hedenhös family will go home when the rocket is repaired. Sture is nervous that things will go wrong when the Prime Minister is to test drive the future rocket Vaasa 2.
Junior has stolen the story-line for the Prime Minister's future rocket. When Sture is going to make it work, Stella shows up. Ben is a TV celebrity while Knota is bored and gets a job.
DNA tests shows Sture that he, Stella and her grandmother are descendants of the Hedenhös. So if they not go back to the Stone Age, Sture, Stella and her grandmother are deleted from history and cease to exist.
Hedenhösarna must go home soon otherwise Stella, Sture and grandmother will not be there anymore. They need to come up with a solution that does not require fairy tale groats. Sten and Flisa have to pick up Knota from the office.
Hedenhösarna must steal the Prime Minister's rocket to go home. The plan is for Ben to turn off the alarm at exactly three o'clock so that Stella and the others can enter unseen. Then the Hedenhösarna will meet in the rocket to go home.
Ben is stuck in the black hole. Flisa, Sten and Knota want to use the fairy tale to get him home again but Ben refuses. Stella is trying to come up with another plan.
