(at around 3:20) The Pilot asks the Girl where the Pilots' Lounge is, who directs her back the way she came. Yet the Pilot continues past the Girl into the garage, the wrong way, seemingly just to "accidentally" step on the toy plane. The implication is that she's trying to go to the lounge, behind her.
