Culminating a remarkable film festival circuit run that concluded at a sold out San Diego Comic-Con premiere, LUMPIA WITH A VENGEANCE the popular, award-winning, Filipino American indie comedy feature will roll out nationally in multiple cities beginning September 30 and throughout Filipino American History Month in October.

In this crowdfunded action comedy, the LUMPIA-armed avenger returns to Fogtown! He teams up with high school teen Rachel to take down a crime syndicate selling drugs masked as food. Can they prevent a mysterious boss from destroying their town, and her parents dream wedding

Directed by Patricio Ginelsa and filmed primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area, LUMPIA WITH A VENGEANCE stars former UFC champion Mark Muñoz, April Absynth, Katrina Dimaranan, Darion Basco, Danny Trejo and a talented ensemble and is a re-telling of Ginelsas first-ever micro-budget feature titled LUMPIA.

The theatrical release is co-presented by the Filipino American National Historical Society (FANHS) and One Down.

Spot-on portrayal of the Bay Area Pino/ay experience!

The perfect action comedy portraying the Filipino American experience in the Bay Area, California. LUMPIA WITH A VENGEANCE is meticulously accurate in terms of locale and the culture of the times (late 1980s-present). You don't have to be from the Bay Area for this phenomenal movie to resonate. Without giving any spoilers, the social and cultural dynamics of the Pinoy experience are spot on-language, food, music, dress. LUMPIA WITH A VENGEANCE tackles it all, flawlessly. You will DEFINITELY leave the movie singing lyrics from the movie long after you leave the theater.
