Arun is living the dream; he and his best friend are inseparable, and he is getting through school just fine despite failing math. It all changes when his fifth-grade teacher believes math is the cornerstone of knowledge. As Arun struggles with the rapid changes in his life, his family tries their best to help him. Things worsen, and Arun's parents clash over the best approach to help him. With the fate of his family on the line, Arun decides to accept a challenge set by his teacher and pass the annual standardized math test.
This is an excellent family-friendly movie. The story gives a unique perspective on how a family approaches raising their children, educating them, and conforming to what society deems appropriate. The story also shares many forms in which children learn and struggle with learning. The movie is long, and some parts could be removed to streamline the runtime, but overall, it is still a great watch. This is an excellent movie for anyone interested in international films or wanting to see how different cultures approach learning and education.

This one is heartwarming. In the junk that TFI usually puts out, this is taaza fresh.
Nivedita Thomas has that aura. From the very first frame till the end she pull you in like a familiar face, a character that is radiant and spectacularly brought to life on screen. She's mom, the teacher and everything that this movie needed, showing us the simple life of a family from tirupati. Vishwadev's performance as a father was equally well done and shan't be spoken less of. The chemistry between these two characters on screen was just adorable.
The love and warmth that each character brought to life is lifelike. No character gets left behind. Everyone has a story and they all deal with something - something you hardly see in a telugu film.
Arundev has a bright future, his Charm and ability to perform in front of the camera came quite naturally to this champ.
Absolutely loved this movie. I didn't want these characters' story to end.
Thanks to the entire team that brought this movie to life.
9/10.

35 Chinna Katha Kaadu (Not a small story) is a story of grit, love, belief and above all trusting ones ability.
Saraswati, played brilliantly by Nivetha Thomas, is a home maker who fails high school and is happily married with 2 kids Arun and Varun to Prasad, who works as a bus conductor in the temple town on Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. Arun always ends up getting zero marks in maths and gets bullied by his teachers and classmates. But it is Saraswati's trust in him that helps him overcome this obstacle and obtain 35 marks to get a pass in exams.
Nivetha Thomas brilliantly plays Saraswati alias Chinnu who is fighting her own demons as she failed high school. She is the ultimate motherly figure who works with the kid to teach him maths. As they say, mother is anyone's first teacher and Nivetha proved she can be.
Vishwadev as a father who cares about his family and is pragmatic brilliantly played the role of Prasad when his situations question his pragmatism.
The kids are convincing with their innocence.
While the movie had technical issues with the choice of sync sound and not so crisp editing, it never fails to draw us in thanks to the brilliantly written drama and characters that resonate with us from the get go.
This movie is award worthy. Don't miss.

This movie's got some serious vibes! The concept? Straight-up beautiful. Characters and plot? Built like a pro. The screenplay's got that slow-burn pace that totally fits the flick. Dialogues are on point, though a few scenes feel like they're draggin' a bit. A few scenes you might see coming, but overall, it's mad well-written and directed.
Nivetha Thomas? She's slayin' in her role, giving a killer performance. The kid actors? They brought their A-game. Vishwadev, Priyadarshi, and the rest of the cast? They did their thing just fine. Cinematography is pure fire-those shots are chef's kiss. Sets, costumes, makeup? All looking legit.
Bottom line? You gotta check this out-hit up the theaters or atleast catch it on OTT when they release it, but don't sleep on this one, especially if you're rolling with kids or parents!

When was the last time you saw a film that truly deserved a 5 star rating? Honestly, I can't recall one. "35" is a movie that deserves a special place in cinema history for generations to enjoy.
Overall, "35" feels like a film that embodies the warmth, love, and determination of a mother. It's great to see meaningful films like this making their way into our lives. In a world where many movies are just noise and lack depth, "35" feels like a breath of fresh air. It offers a healing experience that reminds us of the importance of family and love. In a neighborhood filled with distractions, this film is like a blissful sanctuary..
A heartfelt salute to the '35' team for reminding us that motherhood is more than just giving life, it's about sharing love, strength, and the courage to face the world.

Flawless movie.. simply amazing... dialogues, direction, acting, songs... every minute detail was well thought out..
so refreshing to watch... a great relief among all the over-hyped larger than life hero movies that we have now a days..
Every actor gave thier 💯... loved the part when dad tells, entire life to talk with chinnu.. now is his time.. ifykyk... let's encourage questioning, the right way to learn...
BTW please don't compare it to Tare zameen par...... its way different.. broad theme may be same.. but the way story is told is different
We need more such writers and directors and actors inTelugu industry .. story telling is an art and this move exemplifies it.. kudos to entire team.
Just wanted to go to movie and decided randomly to go to this one.
Wasn't expecting any thing out of this movie and to my surprise, such an amazing movie, superb direction with a good story line and very good acting, special acknowledgement to the hero of the movie "Nivetha Thomas" yes she is the main protagonist of the movie.
The story line and the direction is so realistic, you will be amazed.
We even didn't want the interval break, wanted the movie to contiune.
What surprised me even more is, not many audience was there in the hall, which promoted me to write this review, do.
Arun bring back memories of the kid from Tare Zameen Par.
Watch it, Thanks Rana for getting this movie to us.

The movie is so beautiful that I had to make sure I leave a review. The story, the actors and the emotions are so brilliant that you're drawn into the world of Arun's family. Nivetha Thomas has to be one of the finest actors TFI has ever seen. You cannot tell her apart from her character, Saraswathi, throughout the film. Vishwadev who played Prasad, Priyadarshe who played Chanakya and every kid in the movie too, makes you carry and relate with the emotions every second of the movie. The whole team deserves all the love and success and I sincerely hope the Telugu Film Industry comes with more films like this.

The film depicts an ideal traditional middle class family. In that a short story about a kid's trouble with math. How the mother responds, how the father responds, ...
It's amazing to see a film based on values and emotions in the recent times. Every single characterization is amazing. The story chosen in my opinion has enough depth to bring the emotions out of the characters and very relatable to the audience.
It's refreshing to see a movie that is likable due to it's other aspects than the actors played in it. Personally, I would say it is a must watch to the people who like traditional family values.

This movie scored 100, not just 35! Very well executed and I was wishing to see this kind of message oriented movies instead of stereo hero based movies ( which won't happen anywhere! ). Loved it from start to end! Wish there won't be a teacher like that ( calling by marks scored, not encouraging thing to kids who are like precious flowers).. wishing humanity lives ever encouraging each other! Kids acted very well too! Nivedita acted well and lived in her roll, wish father had supported the effort but on the whole nice movie! Let's live united! Great movie!!!
Congratulations to the entire team!!
