A soldiers return home can be its own form of battle and war. Our film portrays one such soldier, Steve, whose life hangs in the balance. This film is a story of a love triangle between a soldier, his wife...and her fish. Back from the battlefields in Iraq this soldier, is trying to adjust to a life away from the war while also working to win back the woman he loves. In his growing depression, and PTSD, he believes that suicide may be only the answer and a way out. His wife, Veronica, has her own troubles with her PTSD and her own way of handling it. The two come together like oil and water, and both unsure whether their broken relationship can ever be healed, and whether they can ever again have a "normal" life. It all comes to a head over an explosive confrontation during dinner with old friends and it may be up to the fish to save the day.—Michael Garvey
