This film released in Deepavali 2013 alongside the Ajith starrer Arrambam and the Vishal starrer Pandiya Nadu. However, the latter films succeeded while this film flopped miserably at the box office. This film is also deemed to be the worst film of both the lead actor Karthi and the director M.Rajesh.
