After Kitty pushes open the bathroom door and squats down to collect Frank's uniform, the door behind he is closed.

After Frank places the flashlight down next the the couple who assaulted him, it has moved position by the time that Sgt. Mason arrives.

Even back in 1980, a female secretary would not be assigned as a live-in nurse for a male employee.

Frank is shown wearing his uniform while at the hospital and also after being released. Hospitals, especially in a case involving a serious injury, would require the patient to change into hospital clothing. His uniform would have been cut off of him by either the EMS medics or the emergency room staff.

After Frank is involved in the fight with the couple early in the film, it's unlikely he'd attend his next shift with his face badly beaten. He would have been given administrative duty or administrative leave while the event was investigated.

Grammar: when Frank is assigned bed rest, he would not "lay here" but rather 'lie here.'

Tom arrives on the scene after Frank has repelled the attack on his person by the couple in the VW Bug, yet Frank didn't call for backup.
