Just saw this at the Laemmle in LA.... Touched me so deeply. Tears in my eyes what an awesome film. The two young actors performances were just beautiful. I am looking to see what film festivals may be showing it around the country. So impressed with how such a short film could so powerfully depict all the complexities of what it feels like to be systematically "othered" and the toll it takes on families, communities. I could relate to the story on such a personal level it really took be back to my experience growing up in Colorado in the early 1980's. I cannot recommend this film enough. Hoping to see it again.

Attended a film festival in Los Angeles with some friends and saw this in their kids line up and I was really impressed! The story, acting, visuals, and emotion were all at a high level! Excellent work by the director, actors, crew and everyone making this short movie. I can really picture this expanding or turning into something longer like a Netflix show, Hulu limited or HBO series or something, even maybe a full length movie! I definitely see a bright future for the kid actors as they we wonderful! Bravo! Can't wait to see what the future brings to this cast and director! I hope to watch this again in future screenings! :)
