The sun-soaked coast of Southern Spain provides the backdrop for Netflix’s new reality series Making It in Marbella. The show introduces us to Homerun Brokers, a premier real estate firm nestled amidst the luxury villas and estates of Marbella. Led by founder Eric Ebbing, Homerun caters to an exclusive clientele including wealthy Scandinavians, sports stars, and other global elites seeking resort properties along the celebrated Costa del Sol.
Joining Eric is a colorful cast of agents determined to close the next multi-million dollar deal. We’re introduced to top performers like Miah, a dedicated worker, and former footballer Matias, now relying on his charm and contacts to move properties. But tensions are rising between Miah and newcomer Robert, an ambitious rental broker who has set his sights on a major promotion.

The return of a reality TV monster that’s sure to dominate social media conversation; Charlie and Nick’s blossoming romance; a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the NBA courtesy of LeBron James and Anthony Edwards; the latest gem from an action auteur; Tyler Perry’s first Netflix television drama and another helping espionage and drama from Keri Russell are some of the highlights among the new films and series hitting Netflix in October.
Coming in hot on Oct. 2 is the new season of Netflix’s reality dating show Love Is Blind. October also brings with it the chance to watch Season 1 of “Yellowjackets” (a Showtime hit) for the first time on the Netflix platform, as well as more “Outer Banks” and “The Lincoln Lawyer.” The best bet, however, is the return of Keri Russell.
Top Pick: “The Diplomat” Season 2
Russell returns as U.S. ambassador to the U.K. Kate Wyler in this “The Americans” meets “Homeland” Emmy-nominated hit. Season 1 ended with a massive cliffhanger, so the six-episode Season...
